Scope and Purpose
This standard has been prepared to establish mounting dimensions for lubricating and coolant pumps a s applied to machine tools in order to facilitate their replacement.
The pumps considered are mounted in several ways to machine tools:
Foot-Mounted
In this case the pumps are provided with standard bolt openings at specified locations.
Bracket-Mounted
In this case the bracket may be either an integral part of the pump, or a separate bracket.
Motor-Mounted
In this case, the pump is driven directly by the motor and the motor serves as a mounting to secure the pump to the machine tool.
