Description / Abstract:
1. This specification2 prescribes requirements for
covered chromium and chromium-nickel steel electrodes yielding
deposited weld metal in which chromium exceeds 4 per cent and
nickel does not exceed 50 per cent.
NOTE 1.—No attempt has been made to classify all grades of electrodes within the limits of the above scope; only the more commonly used have been included.
