Description / Abstract:
This specification covers heat treated alloy steel forgings of
the following classes for general industrial use:
Class A—Annealed, normalized, or normalized and tempered forgings.
Clases B and C—Normalized and tempered forgings.
Class C1—Normalized and tempered or double normalized and tempered forgings.
Classes D, E, F, G, and H—Normalized, quenched, and tempered forgings.
Supplementary requirements of an optional nature are provided andshall apply only when specified by the purchaser.
NOTE—The values stated in U.S. customary units are to be regarded as the standard.
