The Fibre Channel Inter-Fabric Routing (FC-IFR) standard defines
the protocols, functions, and mappings for the routing of Fibre
Channel frames between physically or logically separated
Fabrics.
This standard is divided into the following clauses:
Clause 1 specifies the scope of this standard.
Clause 2 specifies the normative references that apply to this
standard.
Clause 3 specifies the definitions, abbreviations, and
conventions used in this standard.
Clause 4 specifies the structure and concepts of an Inter-Fabric
Router.
