Description / Abstract:
This standard is applicable to industrial exposures to
trichlorotrifluoroethane, in all areas where contact, actual or
potential, with this compound occurs.
Purpose. The purpose of this standard is to provide information that will permit the formulation of guidelines for protecting the health of the worker. Trichloro· trifluoroethane has been shown to be a compound of relatively low toxicity [1,2, 3, 4, 5] 1 but in certain situations, exposure to high concentrations of its vapor may be harmful.
