Description / Abstract: The materials defined by this specification are steer or heifer hides which have been tanned and processed with minimal grain and no alteration to the top surface which allows for a soft haptic without sacrificing the leather’s physical properties. Top coat is a finish that allows for a premium haptic which is a primary attribute for this leather. Top coat finish is not engineered to meet high abrasion characteristics.
